Contract No. 10 ИФ-02-20 dated 28.11.2019

Multitest Ltd. successfully completed Project "Development of an integrated innovative system for complex inspection of gas pipelines" under contract No. 10 ИФ -02-20 dated 28.11.2019 funded by the 10th financing session of National Innovation Fund. Within the project, industrial scientific research was carried out aiming to develop an innovative product representing a combined, automated system for complex testing by radiographic and visual test methods of pipelines and gas pipelines so that the life cycle of industrial systems belonging to subject area “Mechatronics and clean technologies" is extended. The innovation developed is a product, the implementation of which will ensure energy-efficient storage and distribution, a novelty on the world market. Through their proposal, a team of employees of Multitest Ltd. carried out planned scientific research providing new knowledge in fundamental areas of non-destructive testing such as product defectiveness and statistical analysis of imperfections detected by inside-pipeline testing of gas pipelines. The system developed will be integrated into one more complex overall system in complex inspection of pipelines and gas pipelines, and will be used also in following developments of methods for testing and operational risk assessment of industrial systems. “Experimental development” activities were also carried out where the innovative product reached the level of technology readiness TRL 7 - prototype tested in an operational environment. For this development purposes, equipment was purchased to test as well as to validate the prototype. As an industrial scientific research, the innovative product is a technology that can be successfully used later in the validation of other non-destructive testing methods, as well as other structural integrity assessment methods of gas pipelines.
